but the first year ever Hamilton's Esports program was held on campus the most elite players from freshmen to seniors came together to thermite and push each other past our limits surrounded by supporters a dendrite of a like we played a compete we play a twin here in this Crucible we come together so we can be stronger apart welcome to Hamilton in sports hi everybody my name is Guama I love playing video games and I am the East Coast coach for Hamilton High School I really like watermelon my name is Danny from you this all my friends call me dummy I actually really enjoy doing origami and I just joined before it's actually what is Esports me to you is that feeling of doing something cool in like everyone else sees you did something cool and then they start like shouting or life Beast Boy says to me is that sense of just like Triumph of knowing that all the effort that you put in all the time you took to like steady the game to pay it off hi I'm Madison I was one of the first girl that stay in the East which programs are very inclusive environment and I didn't that anybody can really coming. I look forward to it. Southern like oh my God I actually do games for fun I like this having teammates to rely on the actually hear me if not people from like across the country of my old classmates and even school during school. I'm like hey did you did you train for that self back early. 8 for the for the special Olympic team and I participate and I like it could have been nice for me being cool is that I get to play with my teammates and if I can win a race they'll help me with it and that's just what a team is they help you so one thing that's a nice meme about e-sports is how every player or coach we all like the same things it's not just games we all watch the same shows we listen to the same music we talked about the same things it helps us relay and brings us closer together since we all should see me. Being able to decorate all the equipment I make some new like I said origami things my teammates and the staff here and use it to decorate their equipment one thing that I've learned from my teammates was that maybe you can rely on other people that it's okay to ask for help and no matter what you need even if it's not just about video games you can come to them for quite literally anything you need to even if it's something personal like Otis accomplishments just being friends with all the people here is sports and if this is one of the reasons that you know I love you sports today and I keep calling is because of the people here what advice would you have for new players be prepared your no thank you you're not going to be if you are bad at the game do not stop playing the game take a break yeah but do not stop playing the game make sure you don't you don't give in too easily make sure that you do your best and give it your all that you're positive the other people sometimes we need to lose to crossword you need to look at yourself and go like okay what am I doing wrong that I need to improve that I can get better at this game what you do that the game becomes a lot more people to understand what your enemies and then you can stop that and you went more so you know as much and then if you don't  as much you like to play more than you like to play more you improve...... Now your professional so yeah they're not be scared to talk to other people because I want a very nice the very inclusive and you do very well so just be yourself been coach for the Easter program with developing the for Stevie we all have our gamertag so that was really cool this gamertag I think I've had since 5th grade crew cool back if you can see it says Christ the 22 on the back means the year that he Sports was established as a matter of fact we all signed the our names right back here free team is on my teammates where is a reminder for like how we uplift each other we got the finals I'm really proud of getting finals with my thing I feel like we burned it and we did it mean played on high knees and I feel like we really deserve to get as high as we did I'm just proud of how much improvement I was able to put on to a game that previously never played before I started playing smash last year and now I'm over here with all these people in in a week we are destroying a lot of people and it's really fun we're ranked sixth in California and again my team is we've only taken one lost so far that's the only law we are willing to take you no more else but we don't think we're going to make sure that we keep his word. That's not a word we're going to fight to make sure that we keep all of her that's the final this is what Hamilton Esports is all about this is what it means to me as a coach and this is what it means to us here as a
