Hamilton Boys Basketball
Some pictures of the @hamilton_boys_basketball team during their trip to NorCal to play in the Piedmont High tournament this past weekend.

The team was the only SoCal team at the tournament and finished with a 2-1 record. Many players hit statistical milestones, resulting in a 77.67 points per game average during the tournament.

Shout out to Coach Brown for setting up this amazing experience for these student athletes. Basketball aside, the players got to see what the next level might look like for them. They were able to tour campuses in NorCal like UC Berkeley as well as San Francisco State, eat in their dining halls and check out their dorms. Players were also able to observe the San Francisco Men’s Basketball team practice in preparation for their upcoming matchup against Cal Poly Pamona!

“The guys were given a chance to bond with each other and create deeper relationships. This was able to be felt on the court as we were able to have our best three games of the season. We looked more together as a team, and I watched guys sacrifice their own personal goals for the betterment of the team. This is a very inexperienced team, as this is either guys first year on varsity or their first year playing significant minutes on varsity. Over the first three games we really struggled to deal with adversity, our energy would get low, and guys would even give up mid play. On this road trip I watched them hold each other accountable and keep one another encouraged when things weren’t going team’s way.” - Coach Brown

We are excited to see what this team has in store for us as the season progresses. Come support the team today against their home matchup today with Pali!

Thank you
