Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
What does Communities In Schools of Los Angeles do?
CISLA is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering at-risk students to stay in school and on the path to a brighter future. Caring adults meet with students one-on-one to establish academic plans/goals & connect them to resources when needed.
CISLA is in 510 we have snacks and school supplies!
Staff Statement
Communities In School of Los Angeles is a safe space on campus that provides extra support to students. We are committed to empower Hamilton High students to succeed during their time at Hamilton and whatever comes after whether it be college or career. We assist students through basic needs, resources on campus, mentorship and small group support.
