Required Courses:

Honors English 9

Honors Biology

CC Algebra 1/CC Geometry/ CC Algebra 2 (depends on 8th-grade math)

Physical Education or Team Sport

World Language: Spanish, Spanish for Speakers, Mandarin, French, Arabic

Health (one semester)

Choice of 2 Electives:    

 1) Ethnic Studies or First Responders (one semester)

2) Freshman Seminar or Intro to Physics/Ancient Civilizations (Pre-AP level)

Hamilton is a College-Going School!  Each year our graduates are admitted to every UC, CSU, and many private schools including the Ivy Leagues!

  • SAS students at Hamilton are placed in classrooms with other SAS students and will take Honors level courses in 9th grade with the opportunity to select from more than 20 AP Courses in the 10th-12th grade, in addition to Honors classes. 

  • We offer 3 World Languages from level one to AP level (Spanish, French, and Arabic). 

  • Hamilton students are also able to take West Los Angeles College courses during the school day.

  • Each year, Hamilton students are accepted into all major universities and colleges, including Ivy League and all UC/CSU campuses.
